Navajo Code Talkers
By:Kinnley Murphy
Thesis Statement:
Because the American military needed an unbreakable code of communication against the Japanese in the Pacific during WWii, The Navajo Code Talkers were formed in 1942 with 29 initial recruits. They successfully provided a fast, secure, and error-free code of communication that enabled the Allies to secure a victory.
"My wartime experiences developing a code that utilized the Navajo language taught how important our Navajo culture is to our country, For me that is the central lesson: that diverse cultures can make a country richer and stronger."
