What events led up to the Munich Agreement?

With Hitler building up his military and gaining more supporters, he was able to put pressure on the Czech Government by starting civil unrest in the Sudetenland. The Nazi Party in the Sudetenland kept making unreasonable demands from the government such as giving the Sudetenland over to Germany, and when they weren’t met, they claimed that they were being discriminated against. This had worked as during the Great Depression, most workers had lost their jobs, which the Nazi party exploited in their protests. Hitler then lined up 750,000 troops on the border, threatening to invade Czechoslovakia.
