In summary, the Harlem Renaissance wasn't a planned event but still impactful. The social event brought together and enabled African Americans to convey themselves and get the attention they deserved. This also allowed black Americans to be accepted into society today and not shunned because of the color of their skin. Since the event occurred many African American musicians, artists, writers, etc, have come forward and received the appreciation well deserved for having as good enough talents as a white person. Today there are black, artists, musicians, actors, writers, etc all around the world and they now have free will to be able to express themselves in any type of art form. ​​​​​​​
