During the 1930s, Dr. Virginia Alexander promoted reforms that aimed to achieve medical equality through her public health research and as a Quaker in the Germantown Monthly Meeting. In reaction to the poor healthcare received by African Americans, she pioneered initiatives to provide care for patients and supported aspiring Black doctors. She created Aspiranto Health Home to address Black Americansβ needs, revolutionizing healthcare systems in Philadelphia. βββββββ
