Youman's actions go greatly unrecognized today; but because of her contributions towards women's suffrage in Wisconsin through her leadership and commitment, she helped make Wisconsin the first state to ratify the 19th Amendment and further pave the way for the future of women's rights in America. Creating a turning point that left a lasting impact on the women of America.
