June 22 1940- The Nazis take over France. Britain is the only European country to face the Nazis ("Battle of Britain").

July 10 1940- The Battle of Britain begins. The Luftwaffe attacked supply ships for the first time. Hitler names this Operation Sea Lion ("Battle of Britain").

12-15 August 1940- Germans realise that Britain is using radar. Radar stations are used for only 10 hours. Radar Stations are replaced with vans ("Battle of Britain").

13 August 1940- Luftwaffe attacked airfields and aircraft stations. They do not attack as much because of bad weather("Battle of Britain").

15 August 1940- Britains call it the " Greatest Day". The Germans call it " Black Thursday". This is the heaviest day of fighting. Luftwaffe lose 74 pilots whie RAF lose 34 pilots ("Battle of Britain").

16 August 1940- Winstion Churchill makes his famous speech of " The Few". The first RAF pilot, Flt Lt James Niclison, gets a Victrioa Cross ("Battle of Britain '').

18 August 1940- Luftwaffe bomb Southren England. Fighting goes on all day. Luftwaffe lose 69, RAF lose 68 ("Battle of Britain").

24 August 1940- Germans night time bomber vear off course and bomb sites ("Battle of Britain").

30 August 1940- Polish fighter FO Ludwik Witold Paszkiewicz, bombs a Germans aircraft. His squad then is named opreational ("Battle of Britain'').

1 Septmber 1940- Germans think the RAF has only 200 planes left but have more than what they had in the beging of this fight ("Battle of Britain '').

7 Septmber 1940- The Biltz begings which is bombing towards London starting a nine-month long campian ("Battle of Britain '').

15 Septmber 1940- The Battle of Britain is when the RAF shoot down 54 Luftwaffe planes ("Battle of Britain ''). 

17 Septmber 1940- Hitler postpons Operation Sea Lion, until further notice ("Battle of Britain").

31 October 1940- Luftwaffe sent the last day of attack on Britain. However he still sends bombings at night ("Battle of Britain")
