Thesis

Communication was a driving force in the Indian Independence Movement. Specifically, the acts of nonviolent resistance, public speeches, and the presence of international news journalists all contributed to the movement's eventual success over decades in the 20th century. The peaceful protests that spread throughout the country were the backbone to the movement, creating a pathway to victory for Indian independence.
