of a mummy

Elmer McCurdy impacted entertainment. He was passed around from circus to circus (“The Bandit That Never Gave Up”).  Then eventually every time Elmer moved, people started forgetting that this was a mummy and ended up coming to see him as if he was a real person. After many years, his body began to become damaged and finally another autopsy was done on his body. This time, a coin from 1911 and a ticket stub from the Louis Stunnes Museum of Crime were found in his mouth ( “The Bandit That Never Gave Up”). Elmer had a funeral of three hundred people, but no relatives were present, people were dressed in cowboy uniforms as Elmer was on a horse drawn carriage and people could see him from inside the widow. Then a person gave a speech “we realize that you were apart of are heritage and apart of use therefore with respect and decency we commit you to the earth (“Elmer Mc Curdy”). Even though this man did bad choices in his life he still deserves respect. Elmer was taken to a grave to be buried under six feet of concrete. (“The Bandit That Never Gave Up”)

Elmer McCurdy impacted the way mummies were treated by showing them more respect in death.
