The bias that exists in secondary sources often miscommunicates historical facts. Marie Curie didn’t want to be seen as a stereotypical woman. She wanted people to see her as a scientist, equal to her male counterparts. To truly understand her place in history, both primary and secondary sources must be examined in combination and with a critical eye that roots out bias. ​​​​​​​
