Thesis

On D-Day June 6th, 1944 over 160,000 troops from the US, Great Britain, and Canada landed in France to attack the nazis. This was a large step in changing the course of the war, starting with the liberation of France against the Germans and liberating Europe ending the second world war. The invasion was the largest land, sea, and air invasion ever in history. It stopped Hitler from conquring Europe and freed most Jews from genocide.
