Jane Goodall broke the barriers of science in 1960 when she went to Gombe Stream Game Reserve to live among wild chimpanzees. She changed what people thought about the animals by showing us how similar a chimpanzee’s behavior is to a human’s. It helped display the close evolutionary relationship between the two species. Even after she left Gombe in 1975, Goodall still continues to share awareness about the environment today.
