The Lesson Learned from the Cuban Missile Crisis

                     Aphorism on Communication and Miscommunication

When we – as a human race – do not engage in discourse, try to operate in the shadows, and endeavor to gain an unfair advantage – we lead ourselves down an incredibly perilous path.

For example, in the Cuban Missile Crisis, the world was one rash decision away from complete destruction, but through collaboration, cooperation, and communication – we were able to overcome this challenging occasion.

The crux of the issue is to communicate with clear intentions, level-heads, and a willingness to negotiate – even if one may disagree, we can always find a resolution. This statement is history’s aphorism for this Crisis.
