The removal of segregation is important because it guarantees that everyone is treated equally, no matter where they come from, or what they look like. It helps people from different backgrounds, connect, and understand each other. When each individual has the same quality education and job opportunities, communities in America can grow. Additionally, this research is important because many people know the basic parts of segregation. Yes, people were separated, however, the rights African Americans fought for, is, typically, not sought out. The responsibilities African Americans earned were good; for example: the right to vote, earn more job opportunities, and earn education. In contrast, they earned the responsibility of acting better than what they already were. These aspects of the Civil Rights Act, and segregation, should be acknowledged by everyone.
