Apollo Missions
In the end, NASA was able to greatly influence and change the world of employment for ethnic minorities. NASA sent the black astronauts to space and allowed African- Americans to get the opportunities they deserved.
In addition, America was able to 'win' the Space Race of the 1960's. It not only broke the barrier of Earth's atmosphere, but accomplished many technological feats as well. Our Apollo Missions were able to not only reach the Moon, but land astronauts on it, a feat that hasn't been accomplished since.
