William Shakespeare was born in Stratford-Upon-Avon, London on April 23, 1564 (“William Shakespeare”). When Shakespeare was 18 he married Anne Hathaway who was 6 months pregnant with their first child, they named her Susanna (“William Shakespeare”). In 1585 Anne Hathaway gave birth to their twins, Judith and Hamnet (“William Shakespeare”). It is believed that Shakespeare wrote his first play in 1592, Shakespeare's most common themes included tragedy and comedy (“William Shakespeare”). Shakespeare was part of a group known as “The King’s Men” where he became extremely well known, and brought him plentiful wealth (“Shakespeare Biography”). William Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616, due to unknown causes (“Shakespeare Biography”). Even though Shakespeare's life ended 400 years ago his legacy is respected to this day.
