His favorite catchphrase is "Me want cookie!" Even if he does love cookies, he expresses he also loves vegetables in the song "Me Am What Me Am" in an effort to lower childhood obesity. He represents hunger, which relates to children of all ages (Muppet Wiki).
Bert and Ernie
Although these two pals get on each others nerves, they are together 24-7. Ernie somehow often finds himself in trouble throughout the episodes. Bert, however, is always by his side, watching out for him.These two buddies are stuck like glue and represent a healthy friendship on Sesame Street (Wikipedia).
Grover
Grover is a heroic character who's always willing to lend a helping hand. He is known for being Super Grover, and he flies all over Sesame Street. He uses his super powers for good and loves to teach children bravery, which is the emotion he portrays (Muppet Fandom).
Oscar the Grouch
Oscar the Grouch lives in a trash can, and he LOVES trash. He demonstrates many emotions for children, which include grumpiness and tolerance because many of the characters get annoyed with him, but they all come together and start to like him (Muppet Wiki).
