The Swinging Sixties introduced a revolutionary new wave of media that exhibited rebellion, liberation, and individualism in fashion of young women. Teenaged girls took over the monotonous world of fashion through self-expression during this decade, leaving behind many traditional concepts.This new wave of idiosyncratic ideas being communicated throughout teen culture caused young women to counter conformism through choices of wardrobe.
