Amelia Earhart impacted women after she flew across the Atlantic Ocean (“Biography: Amelia Earhart.”). Earhart proved that women could achieve any goal that they wanted (“Biography: Amelia Earhart.”).“Earhart became a media sensation and symbol of what women could achieve” (“Biography: Amelia Earhart.”).  Earhart received a few awards such as the American Distinguished Flying Cross, and the Cross of the French Legion of Honor award (“Biography: Amelia Earhart.”).  Earhart noticed the impact she had on women (“Biography: Amelia Earhart.”). This led her to write The Fun of It, one of her two books, in 1932 (“Biography: Amelia Earhart.”). The Fun of It was about Earhart’s journey of becoming a pilot and what she went through during her flight (“Biography: Amelia Earhart.”).
