Before the nationwide incarceration of the Japanese, the escalation of the Second World War resulted in the attack on Pearl Harbor, which solidified the decision to relocate the Japanese Americans. This decision led to the grave injustice and violation of Japanese Americans' rights and disrupted them from their responsibilities as citizens.
