With a decided starboard list, USS Liberty (AGTR-5), accompanied by the guided missile cruiser USS

       Little Rock (CLG-4), limps slowly toward the Port of Valletta, Malta, for repairs following the

      attack by Israeli torpedo boats and aircraft. The helicopter hovering over the bow of the ship

      is removing the wounded and dead to the attack carrier USS America (CVA-66) 6 June 1967.
