The 23rd Headquarters special troops, better known as the Ghost Army, was a top secret military unit whose primary goal was to deceive their enemies during WWII using clandestine, fabricated tactics. Their secret objectives played a crucial role in saving thousands of lives during the War. Their use of “fake” miscommunications to the Nazis resulted in many successful missions. Recently declassified, their actions are the key to understanding Allied victories in the Western Theater.
