Jazz Baby: Changing the World Through Music 

​​​​​​​After World War II, the modern world was being divided into Capitalists and Communists. Fearing another world conflict America and the Soviet Union faced off in a Cold War. A game of global chess, with both sides seeking to collect allies. To align themselves with as many countries as possible the American government sent Jazz musicians around the world to not only entertain the masses, but to show the world that America offered a level of freedom that Communism restricted. These musicians were instrumental in COMMUNICTING the potential possible with their presence in these developing nations America’s foriegn relations might look a lot different.
