These trials also revealed the Nazis' crimes and the atrocities they have committed over the Holocaust, and the millions of people they killed. In 1993 an International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia responded to the massive atrocities then taking place, the problem would not have been solved without the doing of the Nuremberg trials. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
