The Importance of Hedy Lamarr

            Today, the importance of Hedy’s invention can be seen in cellular phones, computers, and other electronic devices. Her job as an inventor was also important because she inspired women around the world to stand up against discrimination on the baisis of sex (Ignotofsky 7). Lamarr was awarded and acknowledged for the importance of her patent and what it has done for the current generation (Cheslak).
