AHIHA Summer Camp

“AHIHA offers boys and girls with a hearing loss, the opportunity to participate in a hockey camp without limitations.  No matter the degree of hearing loss, all boys and girls are welcome to attend our summer hockey camp.  We have participants of every skill level - from the beginner through college level”

AHIHA camp is held each summer in Illinois and children from across the country attend. Campers are grouped by skill level: JV, Varsity, Freshmen and Girls. There is no fee for the camp, but participants are responsible for the travel costs and accommodations. 

AHIHA also helps players by providing access to hearing aids, speech therapies, and other needs.

AHIHA HOCKEY SCHOOL QUALIFICATIONS FOR PLAYERS:

1. Male or female hockey players with an established hearing loss.

2. First time camp attendees are required to provide a current audiogram in support of thier hearing loss.

3. Age: youth beginner through college level athletes.

4. Players under the age of 21 must be accompanied to the camp by a responsible adult.

5. Player must be a current memeber of USA Hockey.

6. Players must be currently participating in an organized hockey program (except beginners).
