IMPORTANCE
Pearl Harbor was important then and is still important today. When the U.S. joined the Allied side, they assured the victory of the war (“How Pearl Harbor ...''). Pearl Harbor was the catalyst for entering the war; it was an important part of how the U.S. began to prepare for war. Because of the war ending the participants went home to there own countries and began to gain new allies and resources (“Pearl Harbor: Attack, ..."). The war stopped Japan from taking over and controlling more countries (“How Pearl Harbor ...'').
