      CONCLUSION

On December 7th, 1941, the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor causing the U.S. to enter and win World War ll (“Pearl Harbor: Attack, ..."). The event impacted the population of Hawaii and Japan, the existence of the Naval Base, and the turn out of the war (“Today in History ..."). Pearl Harbor was the reason for one of President Roosevelt’s most famous speeches, “Day in Infamy” (Roosevelt). It influenced the U.S. decision to end its separation from the rest of the world and to open up to new allies. The bombing of Pearl Harbor was important to the entering of the war and the ending of the Nazis power (“How Pearl Harbor ...'').
