INFLUENCE
Pearl Harbor had a significant influence on not only America, but also the entire world. Because of this event, the United State's non-intervention policy ended and there has not been one since. Without the no intervention policy, there was no reason for isolationism, so the U.S. agreed to put an end to that. Before the Allied Side won the war, there were Nazi Soldiers on every corner, and when the Allied side won they regained control from Germany making the world more peaceful. The war influenced the creation of NATO. Japan’s original goal was to expand into neighboring countries, but after the Allied side’s win this was not possible. Now the U.S. and Japan are close allies, the opposite of how they were in the 1940s (“How Pearl Harbor ...'').
