"Phenomenon of Anne Frank" Indiana University Press

Numerous people remember Anne Frank because of how she influenced the world with her story. Many victims of the Holocaust were inspired by her diary to write about their experiences in this affair as memoirs. Over 70 translations were made to Anne's diary for people to read and many individuals made plays based off her book to read and many individuals made plays based off of her book to inform others about Anne's story (Anne Frank House). Anne Frank's story inspired many women figures such as Malala Yousafzai. Malala and Anne both were teenage girls that had been treated harshly and tried to make a difference in the way people saw their hardships, although they each did it differently (Curtis Brown). Anne used her diary to change the world while Malala wrote memoirs and did public speaking. Anne Frank truely influenced how humans remember this treacherous event in a modern perspective.
