Vermont History Day Sample Website

on the new NHDWebCentral

New for the 2019-2020 contest season, all students will need to use the NHDWebCentral editing platform to create websites for Vermont History Day and National History Day.  This is a new system, so everyone will be learning how to use it.  You have a lot of options in the editing app, but you will need to build your website from the ground up.

This is my practice website.  I'm learning to use NHDWebCentral, too, and am still figuring out how to make the page look the way I want it to look.

Important information:

1. Check out the helpful instructions and videos at: https://www.nhd.org/nhdwebcentral

2. Disable pop-up blockers. Pop-ups are necessary for adding images.

3. Remember to SAVE your work by clicking the save option on the top bar (looks like an old floppy disc).  SAVE often and definitely save before you close the page.

4. Check out the Helpful Hints page for more information.  (I wanted to practice making additional pages.)

Good luck!  Victoria
