          The sinking of the Titanic created a turning point in history by changing the view of ocean travel safety (“They Said It…”). From 1912 to 1974 the Titanic changed the safety regulations of cruise liners (“They Said It…”). To this day, the Titanic is still changing the marine world by giving new ship model ideas and being explored by many (History.com Editors).

Turning Points Made:

- New cruise liner models, designs, structures, material, sizes, etc... were made (History.com Editors)

- The International Ice Patrol and many other organizations were formed (They Said It...)

- New safety regulations for cruise liners were made (They Said It...)

- Cruise liner workers must complete the proper training before departing on the ship (They Said It...)
