Impact

D-Day had an impact on WWII by having about 9000 troops’ lives being taken on Omaha beach, but the soldier's deaths were not in vain. For the allies captured Omaha Beach and got the upper hand on Nazi Germany. The allied troops then pushed back the Germans further into France, into Berlin, practically ending the war
