Importance

Importance

D-Day was important to the United States’ history because it struck a very hard blow to the axis powers. Now that WWII is over, we still remember and honor the invasion, but not just the invasion, the soldiers involved in the invasion, even if they are dead or alive, we still honor them today for helping stop Germany from “consuming” the world.
