"What's right about America is that although we have a mess of problems, we have great capacity - intellect and resources - to do some thing about them" - Henry Ford
Automotive Monopolization
Henry Ford completely controlled the car industry from the early to mid 20th century. He started his domination over the automobile industry after his achievements of diversification of his employees and pioneering the assembly line. New York Times May 30, 1923 newspaper states, "Ford Motor Company produced 160,000 automobiles of a total of 365,000 motor vehicles in April". Ford Motor Company alone made around 43 percent of cars out of the 365,000 made by multiple companies. That is sheer evidence of how much he dominated the auto-industry.

Legacy
Ford still lives on in people's minds such as the present-day automobile developer, Elon Musk. Elon aspires to do just as Ford did in the automobile industry - make, employ, mass-produce, and control. People remember Ford for all he accomplished, the huge imprint he left on America, and the barriers he broke. Every car manufacturer can thank Henry Ford for the blueprint he left behind, lessons learned and successes. After all, he was influential in why Detroit is known as "Motor City".

"Wealth, like happiness, is never attained when sought after directly. It comes as a by-product of providing a useful service" - Henry Ford
