Kent State Shooting

People believe that President Nixon did a good deed drafting people into the military helping more people than people who got killed. I think this is a good argument because some people think that he did a good deed trying to draft people into the military but some people think he didn’t do a good deed because people died in the military draft. I agree more with the people who think president nixon didn’t do a good deed because people’s lives are precious. Family members of the people who died could have trauma for the rest of their lives if they don’t know how to overcome the death of a family member.

The Kent State Shooting is mostly about when the guards open fired on a group of defensless protesters. This was the first time in history that protesting got people killed. The people were protesting against the war in Vietnam. The guards were trying to protect the ROTC building but the protesters put the ROTC building up into flames. When the guards open fired all the protester ran for their lifes. Most of the protesters ran into the kent state university. There were still people inside the building. Some of the people who were not apart of the protest got killed because of that. Luckily, only a few people got killed during this protest. The protest was suppoed to be a anti-war protest. There were about 28 national ohio guards at the scene when it happened.
