World War II was the cause of Adolf Hitler trying to take over many countries, which caused war throughout the entire world. The British were informed about the Germans invading the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Belgium, and France which they thought was a “Phony war” (History.com Editors). Before World War II began the world was going through the Great Depression. The Great Depression began in October 1929 when the stock market crashed and every one who had invested money was in the red, there also was a massive decrease in employment and Economic stability. The Great Depression was solved when the United states of America started employing men and women to join the workforce in WW2  ("Great Depression...to 1945").
