Winston Churchill stated confidence and reassurance when he said “Work is proceeding everywhere, night and day, Sundays, and week days,” which means every time the British obtained the chance to become better or achieve a goal they worked hard at it (Churchill).Churchill’s speech focused on the fact that they still had a chance to win World War II.
