Importance

The importance of Brown v. the Board of Education is that  African-American children and white children have the right to be treated equally and the cause for that was Linda Brown. Her case banned racial segregation in public schools so all children can be treated equally (“May 17, 1984…”). The Brown v. the Board of Education case was a necessary victory; the case made a difference for people and young children who had to go through what Linda Brown did as a child (“Linda Brown on…”). ​​​​​​​
