Susan B. Anthony's works and accomplishments were important and valued by many women. Anthony showed women how to fight for what they wanted and not be afraid to state their opinion in what they thought was right ("Image 8 of Evening Star"). She went from place to place giving speeches and writing letters trying her best to make this country equal and accepting to all genders (Mathias). In 1872, Anthony walked to a voting site filled with courage and strength to take a risk and vote which she knew would soon lead her to court (Mathias).This event is known in history because it had an effect on women which resulted in more women attempting to vote (Mathias). Susan B. Anthony's importance was shown through her accomplishments when the 19th Amendment was created which granted women the right to vote (Mathias). Anthony has shown this nation what equality means and why it matters; she has truly served an important role in history ("Image 8 of Evening Star").
