Impact
(“Childhood photography of Bell” ca 1855.)
Bell's invention impacted the entire world for the remainder of his life he will bknown as the inventor of communication. The first words to be said on the telephone were, “Mr. Watson, come here. I want you” (History.com editors). Alexander Bell now needed a telephone company to run the telephone, and in Boston Massachusetts, on July 9, 1877 he created the first telephone company. As a result, people from far distance were able to easily communicate with each other (Forgeard). Alexander Bell had been appearing in the newspapers, multiple letters were sent to Bell about his works and congratulating him on his invention (Peirce). When the telephone was introduced to the nation, it opened up an entirely new way to communicate across the globe.
