The telephone was important because it led the world to communicate easier, faster, and in more efficient ways. Bell’s work helped lead the way towards upgraded, new technology. Communication became more advanced over the years, the technology of the telephone has been reformed almost every year. Many scientists helped to improve after Bell’s time. Socially, cell phones are very important, and this makes it so simple to interact with one another from across the world (Forgeard). While the landline phone, the direct descendent of Bell’s invention is quickly becoming a part of the past, his importance in the world of communication will always remain.
