1978- Blue Ribbon Sports is changed to NIKE

1979- Air shoe cushioning device is introduced

1980- Nike goes public

1984- Nike partners with Michael Jordan: The "Air Jordans" shoes 

1984- Michael Jordan wears his first Air Jordan shoes

1990s- More shoe partnerships happend with Charels Barkley, David Robbonson, Scottie Pippin
