The influence it had was astounding, the atomic bomb led to innovations such as nuclear submarines and medicine to treat cancer and other diseases (Peaceful Nuclear Innovations). Both good and bad innovations came from the Manhattan Project. Some good ones being medical imaging systems and therapies that use radiation to treat different kinds of cancer. Some bad innovations being nuclear power plants, while they were effective they would cause lasting harm to the environment.
