The importance of the Manhattan Project is that it changed the way people fight wars, led to advancements in technology,  science, and medicine, ended World War 2,  and overall made significant advancements for mankind as a whole. Some examples being the treatments to cancer, medical imaging system (Peaceful Nuclear Innovations).​​​​​​​
