Tuskegee in Indiana
The Sourthern United States and euorpe aren't the only places that the Tuskegee Airmen were assigned to. In sourthern Indiana, two Bombardment groups were assigned to Freemen Feild. Although this camp was father north, it still had its segregation problems. This camp is notorius for the number of back pilots and officers that went to prison. There were clubs that were segregated and a couple of Tuskegee Airmen tried to break this fued by entering the white club. The few black officers that started this, started and entire uproar, in which over a hundred black officers went to prison and a hundred-one released.
