Ford Factory Today

The Ford Motor Company and top brands such as Lamborghini and Honda still use the assembly line to this day. The difference between the 1900's and modern times is that now there are robots to lift heavy objects and other automated machines to assist the workers.

“Chicago Assembly Plant: Inside the Factory | The Future of Ford and Transportation | Ford.” YouTube, 25 June 2019.

Advancement in the automation of the assembly line has changed how companies build and design cars. Computer programming  gives designers more freedom on what they can make with the use of robotic arms on the assembly line. These robots and machines help to maintain precision and efficiency by eliminating as much human error as possible. The continued use of the assembly line for over 100 years proves that Henry Ford’s innovation of the assembly line truly was a turning point in history that changed industry forever.
