The code-breakers completely changed the way the military worked. Initially, the separate branches of the Armed Forces did not always work together as they do today.  The women decided it wasn't about who broke the code, rather it was about getting the code broken. When the code-breakers couldn't break a code, it was sent onto the next branch, and that would repeat until the code was broken. These women broke codes and barriers. They also saved thousands of lives, not just lives from the army, but also, the lives of the civilians.

The 33rd president of the United States, Harry S. Truman, created the  C.I.A. in 1947. and the N.S.A. in 1952.  Both precursors were created by the female code-breakers. These were designed primarily on their teamwork and the way they worked in general.
