The female code-breakers' work directly led to D-Day. They were able to decipher a coded message transmitted by the Japanese Ambassador to Nazi Germany, Hiroshi Oshima. These were a series of messages talking, in-depth, about the Nazi defenses along the North-Western coast of Europe. These codes allowed the Allied Forces to develop a plan to take France back from the Axis Powers. With the information gathered from these deciphered messages, the Allied Forces created a phantom army to trick the Axis Powers. They produced fake radio signals and communications. Deceptions that eventually succeeded.
