Distress Of the Code Breakers

There were times in the code-breakers careers when complete devastation hit, like the surprise attack that the Allied Forces launched on the Seine River. This was the Allied Forces’ attempt at liberating France. Once the attack commenced, the code-breakers started to get code after code from the Axis Enigma machines.  All messages said the same thing, "Enemy landing on the Seine." As the attack continued the code-breakers started to get information about soldiers and loved ones dying. The worst part of this for most of the code-breakers is they were not allowed to leave and attend the funerals of their loved ones.
