To this day begining in 1760 the Institut National de Jeunes Sourds de Paris has changed many lives ("Charles"). The school was originally founded to help the deaf grow in religion and education but has had a reaction from the world ("Clerc"). The school has continued to help the deaf community revolutionize and reform the negative views about the deaf ("Charles").
